Capcom brought a new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds along to Summer Game Fest, showcasing yet more gameplay from next year's action RPG. As revealed in the previous State of Play promotion, we get to hear more from fully voiced protagonist (which still seems weird), as evil worms (with legs, actually) attack from beneath desert sands. Creepy.
Capcom also confirmed that Wilds will be at Gamescom in August, where we'll get more news — and maybe a release date?

How do you think Monster Hunter Wilds is looking? Watch out for grotesque worms in the comments section below.
Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he's played 'em all. A little too much, some might say.
The palicos can talk now?!
This is what I watched SGF for. I get they're not showing that much, but there seem to be a few new mechanics every trailer and a showcase of how the monsters behave in packs and with the environment. Looks good so far, really looking forward to the game.
@hugoadan Yeah both your hunter and palicoes have voices
Site is updated with names of the new monsters. (update: only for the worm leviathan: BALAHARA)

The heavy focus on story and set pieces rather then hunting is not something i'm liking.
That tease with the fellow hunter just to send them away… not cool.
@DennisReynolds It's a little silly to worry about that imo. They are showcasing a more seamless structure for assigned quests. But it's obviously still going to be MH.
@VaultGuy415 Thing is none of this is MH. So far all i've seen is a story what will be bad, out of place set pieces and dull graphics that look worse then World.
None of that is true. They showed plenty of normal MH action in the SoP
