Capcom held a big showcase today to reveal some exciting news for the company's biggest IP, such as Monster Hunter and Resident Evil. A major section of the livestreamed presentation went into more details on the upcoming massive Sunbreak expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, the latest mainline title in the action-RPG series. One of the surprises that came from the Monster Hunter-focused segment is that there will be a free Sunbreak demo available on Switch and PC, giving fans the chance to take down the flagship monster for Sunbreak, Malzeno, along with some other scary creatures.
And luckily, Capcom has confirmed via its official Twitter account for Monster Hunter just when the demo is expected to go live on the digital storefronts. Here's what fans need to know about the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo release time.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's Almudron Subspecies Explained
The first (and only?) demo for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion will begin to roll out on the Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam globally on June 14 at 7 PM PT / June 15 at 3 AM BST. As for other major time zones, the demo should be live on June 14 at 8 PM MT, 9 PM CT, 10 PM ET, and June 15 at 12 PM JST.
Monster Hunter Rise players can hop into the demo to explore the new Jungle biome that comes from the second generation of Monster Hunter games to face off against Astalos, an electric Wyvern from Monster Hunter Generations. The new demo for Sunbreak supports up to four-player multiplayer, and there's no limit to how many times it can be played.
