Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - Gore Magala Mission Side Quest
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak introduces several new monsters, hunting areas, weapons, and challenges. In a game as varied as this, you must embark on numerous missions with different objectives to help the people of Elgado to solve the mystery behind the calamity that befell their kingdom in the past.

One of the many missions you have to take in Sunbreak is the "Gore Magala Mission" Side Quest, an endeavor that involves facing a Gore Magala in battle. Doing so will award you an armor set inspired by an old beloved character in the series, and here we'll tell you everything about it.
As you progress through the main story of Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, an NPC called Selva the Chevalier will give you this side quest. You can find him resting on a fence, left from the Cantine of Elgado.
To complete this quest you must go and capture a Master Rank Gore Magala, and given its weaknesses and resistances, for this fight it is highly recommended that you use a Fire or Blast-based Slashing weapon. You can go and do it solo, in online multiplayer mode, or even through a Follower Quest accompanied by other NPCs, but regardless of the method, you must specifically capture a Master Rank Gore Magala, otherwise, you'll be wasting your time.
Once you're done with the side quest, go back to Selva and he will reward you with a new armor set blueprint for your hunter.
The reward for completing this quest is the Lecturer Armor Set blueprint, which you can build using Elgado Tickets and a variety of monster materials, bones, and minerals.
