After years of rumours, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 remake is finally on the way. This is at least according to a leaked promotion from Monster Energy, giving us our first look at what could be the official logo for the unannounced game.
Activision still hasn't confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 is on the way - much less that it will launch soon - but this aligns with recent reports that it will be the next Call of Duty game. In fact, rumours of the game's development date back to 2021, with the game reportedly in a complete state last year.

This Monster Energy promotion was just nonchalantly shared on Twitter by user @algebra_sloth. With just a couple of images, the user may have provided us with the most concrete evidence we have that Modern Warfare 3 is on the way soon. Either that or this is a very elaborate fake. Which would be pretty impressive, mind.
Still, I couldn't find any instances of these images being shared before, so unless they went to the effort of making the cardboard cutouts themself, this is looking pretty legit. So much so that the images are being shared around by fans, although not necessarily filling them with hope.
While there's a lot of love for the original Modern Warfare games, not to mention the MW2 remake being popular in its own right, everyone seems to hate this new logo. It's a bit boring, admittedly, especially for a game that's been anticipated for so long.
Again, Activision hasn't even confirmed that the game exists, so we can't say for sure when it will launch. However, recent rumours have it as being a November 2023 release, which would make sense from a sales perspective, being so close to the holidays.
