Minecraft’s axolotl, one of the latest additions to the game’s diverse fauna, was remade by a crafty player into a disarmingly adorable cross-stitch toy. Due to their cuteness, axolotls are often being featured in fans’ works, although the majority of such creative undertakings are usually being performed in-game.

That being said, the player’s work did take a bit more effort than just painting a different texture. Since platypus has some obvious differences in appearance compared to an axolotl, the in-game model required additional work to correctly reflect the animals’ limbs and its famous beak.
