The latest installment in theMetro series, Metro Exodus, was released in 2019 to a mostly positive reception by both critics and players. While the original game was overall compelling and engaging, its Enhanced Edition was particularly praised for amazing graphics quality. RereleasedMetro Exodus offered ray-tracing support on PC and modern consoles, resulting in realistic lighting and reflections in the post-Soviet, post-apocalyptic world. Metro 2033 writer Dmitry Glukhovsky, known for his public statements against communism, Putin, and Russia’s modern political system, is now targeted by the country’s government for an antiwar Instagram post (via PCGamer.) In it, Glukhovsky condemns the war that Russia has started against Ukraine. That particular action goes against the recent law that forbids any criticism of Russia’s Armed Forces, the writer explained on Telegram.
