Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater may not release this year as previously revealed, according to rumors circulating online.
The remake of the third entry in the series by Konami, according to reliable leaker billbil-kun, may slip into 2025. A 2025 release window was referenced by a global distribution giant, the leaker said, with a December 31st 2025 placeholder release date. The leaker, however, wasn't able to corroborate the information, so there's still the chance the game will launch before the end of the year.
No matter when Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is launching, an announcement regarding the game will be made very soon, within the next 10 days or so. Pre-orders will open after this announcement, so a release date will surely be announced soon, whether in 2024 or 2025. A Collector's Edition will also be released for the game, but its contents are yet to be confirmed.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of the third entry in the series, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5.
