Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who starred in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and 10 Cloverfield Lane, is joining the cast of the Star Wars TV show Ahsoka.
She will star in the live-action show alongside Rosario Dawson as the Jedi Knight Ahsoka, according to The Hollywood Reporter. There is no word yet on Winstead's character, however. The show takes place five years after Return of the Jedi, and Hayden Christensen is coming back to play Anakin Skywalker.
Dave Filoni is writing Ahsoka and is a producer on the project alongside The Mandalorian's Jon Favreau. Filming on Ahsoka is expected to begin this spring.
Some of Winstead's other acting credits include Birds of Prey, Kate, Gemini Man, Death Proof, Live Free or Die Hard, and the TV show Fargo.
Whenever it's ready, the Ahsoka show will premiere on Disney Plus. It's not the only other new Star Wars show in the works for the streamer, as there is also an Obi-Wan series starring Ewan McGregor on the way.
