A recent photo shared by the Lead Animator on Marvel's Wolverine hints that motion capture work on the project could begin sometime soon. In conjunction with Marvel Games, Sony and developer Insomniac Games announced the PS5-exclusive Marvel's Wolverine game last September during PlayStation Showcase 2021. A brief teaser trailer accompanied the shocking reveal, showing Logan with bloody fists after an obviously chaotic bar fight.
Because the project likely remains in the nascent stages of production, developer Insomniac Games has shared very few details in the months since the Marvel's Wolverine reveal. The studio has confirmed a few noteworthy tidbits, though. For one, the Wolverine-starring adventure will take place in the same universe as Insomniac's award-winning Spider-Man series. Interestingly, the Story Lead for PlayStation 5's exclusive Wolverine title, Walt D. Williams, is renowned for having served as Lead Writer on Spec Ops: The Line. Hopes for the project couldn't be higher, though the wait to see it in action could last for quite a while longer.

The Twitter post in question appears below:
