A new gameplay trailer has been released for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, showing Kraven The Hunter as one of the main enemies in this campaign. In addition, the new trailer shows Peter in his symbiote suit using the symbiote powers to fight enemies. The footage also shows that you can switch between Peter and Miles, to cover different parts of New York City. It was confirmed by Insomniac Games that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will not feature co-op.
The gameplay shows a river chase with both Spider-Men chasing after Lizard and Kraven’s hunters, with players switching between both Miles and Peter during the chase. The game will be released in Autumn 2023. Both are assisted by a drone being flown by Genke, who know provides additional support to take down the enemy vehicles.
Spider-Man was a great game on PS4 and has been remastered for PS5 alongside the release of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
We gave Spider-Man: Miles Morales a great 8/10 in our review. “Spider-Man: Miles Morales feels like more of a sequel than it is a stopgap, entangling players within its web of cleverly refined mechanics while delivering some familiar web-slinging thrills,” said Jim. “A heroic technical showcase for PS5 owners picking up their consoles on day one, this meaty side story in the Spider-Man saga has us even more excited than before to see what Insomniac Games have planned next.”
