With one simple solution, Marvel could fix its problems with MCU Phase 4's Disney+ show's endings, a pattern Moon Knight will hopefully break. From WandaVision up to and including Moon Knight, one of the main criticisms of these Marvel shows has been the issue of pacing. Despite their different genres, the Disney+ Marvel shows have often felt like they simply have too much story to tell, but there is one solution that could give these shows and their title characters the well-rounded narratives they deserve.
While the MCU Phase 4 shows have stuck to the conventional episode runtimes of their respective genres, in the end, all these shows have approximately the same total runtime. Most have been billed as a miniseries, with Loki so far being the only exception, having been confirmed for season 2 at the end of the season 1 finale. While the shows have offered audiences a more in-depth look at their characters' motivations and emotions, providing more than enough reason to tune in, most of them simply needed more time to explore their characters and tell a compelling Marvel story simultaneously.

These issues of narrative pacing tend to present themselves toward the end of the Disney+ series. There are often too many questions left to answer and not enough time to do so properly by the time the finale airs. As a result, the endings of these shows can feel rushed, the final episodes forced to wrap everything up in a restricted number of minutes, and a number of storylines and narrative themes fail to get the proper in-depth exploration that they deserve.
