The voice actor who played Peter “Star-Lord” Quill in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy revealed that Peter himself is the one constantly leaving the refrigerator door open onboard the Milano. Eidos Montreal’s take on the ever-popular Guardians Of The Galaxy earned high praise when it launched last year thanks to its writing and humor, which masterfully captured the banter and tension among the titular band of space mercenaries as they struggle to make peace with their various inner demons and save the Marvel Universe from the cult-like Church Of Universal Truth. Peter and his team bicker, fight, and open up to each other about their tragic pasts throughout Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy's story, leading to several great running gags and character moments.
One of the more minor of these recurring jokes takes place onboard the Milano, Peter Quill’s trusty spaceship, which players can explore in between missions in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. In the main lounge area, there is a refrigerator that is constantly left open, leaking cold air throughout the ship as the Guardians go about their pre-mission routines. As Peter, players can close the fridge door with a button press as Quill grumbles about someone wasting precious energy — but the door will ultimately be left open once again by the time Peter returns to the room after another adventure, in one of GOTG's many recurring jokes. Everyone else on the ship humorously denies being the one leaving it open, but it seems that Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy players now have an answer as to who the real culprit is.
