The first major patch of Marvel’s Avengers in 2022 has gone live. The patch aims to fix a plethora of existing issues in the title.
Developed by Crystal Dynamics, Marvel’s Avengers aimed to bring a modern-day AAA gaming interpretation of the iconic characters from Marvel Comics as well as the live-action interpretation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the game favored microtransaction and grindy repetitive content over a story-rich experience. As such, the title was heavily criticized.
With the latest patch, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix aim to fix many ongoing bugs and glitches in the game.
