Warning! Spoilers ahead for Moon Knight episode 5
Marvel's Moon Knight has just confirmed a major missing part of the Thor franchise, one that could potentially make its way to the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. Having been shot and killed by Arthur Harrow in the lost tomb of Ammit, Marc Spector woke up in a psych ward. However, Moon Knight episode 5 reveals that the facility is simply a more recognizable way for Marc Spector and his alter Steven to perceive their surroundings, having entered the Egyptian afterlife. It's also confirmed that it's not the only afterlife out there in the MCU.
In Moon Knight episode 5, Marc and Steven are welcomed to the Duat by the hippo goddess Tawaret. Explaining that her role is to guide them through the afterlife, she makes the distinction that the Duat is only one of many afterlives. "An afterlife. Not the afterlife. You'd be surprised how many intersectional planes of untethered consciousness exist." Case in point, Tawaret mentions that the Ancestral Plane is beautiful, the afterlife of Wakandan kings seen in Black Panther where King T'Challa was able to commune with his father T'Chaka.

Because Moon Knight episode 5 confirms the existence of multiple afterlives such as the Duat and Ancestral Plane, it stands to reason that many others exist as well like the Asgardian afterlife known as Valhalla.
