Marvel and DC's respective movie multiverses clash in a new fan poster that was recently posted to Reddit. The comic book brands have been engaged in a friendly rivalry since their days of telling stories exclusively through print. Now that both Disney and Warner Bros. have translated those stories to the big screen, comparisons between the franchises have inevitably followed. But some are more interested in seeing the two universes come together in a massive crossover film and there's fan art to prove it.
In 2008, Marvel Studios took a massive risk and launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau's Iron Man. But it wasn't until 2012's The Avengers that Kevin Feige and his team's vision for an interconnected film series began to materialize. Coming off of the success of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Warner Bros. was a bit late in establishing the DCEU, only kicking it off in 2013 with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. It has been a rocky start for the franchise, but things have been looking up for the studio as of late, with highly-anticipated releases like Black Adam and The Flash on the horizon.
