Marvel Studios already have the perfect actor to play MODOK in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, yet this casting choice also presents further complications for the franchise. Ant-Man 3 is set to feature two villains — with the other being Kang the Conqueror played by Jonathan Majors — causing many to have begun speculating on who could play the other villain of the film, MODOK. Despite this ongoing debate, the most perfect choice for the villain's actor has already been revealed, thanks to Hulu's M.O.D.O.K show — only there are complications in bringing said actor to the MCU as a result of the prior series.
MODOK is a character from Marvel Comics who was originally an employee of A.I.M., a company seen in the MCU in Iron Man 3. The original MODOK, George Tarleton, underwent a mutagenic medical experiment in order to increase his intellect. While the procedure worked, it left him freakishly disfigured, with a massively oversized head and stunted body. MODOK then takes control of A.I.M and becomes a supervillain in the Marvel Universe as the Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing, or MODOK.

While the character has appeared in the MCU in one iteration in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., another is set to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The perfect actor to play this character has done it before and was rightfully praised for his work on Hulu's M.O.D.O.K: Patton Oswalt. While Oswalt only provided the voice for the character in that show, his performance stood out from the crowd. However, while Oswalt has gone on record as saying he would love to play the MCU MODOK in live-action, certain things may make it complicated to make this a reality.
