Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Getting 48 DLC Tracks, Free for NSO Expansion Pack Subscribers
is finally getting more courses several years after releasing at the launch of the Nintendo Switch.
A booster course pass is coming out that will include 48 courses in total for $24.99. Many of the courses will be from past games, even from the mobile title . The pass will also be included in the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, which is the higher paid tier of Nintendo Switch Online. The first wave of eight tracks will release March 18, 2022. Five additional waves will be released at a later date.

The announcement comes after rumors of a were announced, although this certainly makes any announcement of a sequel unlikely for any time soon as 48 extra courses will keep players busy for quite some time.
