A fresh batch of Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes detail one of the game's biggest updates in a long, long while.
Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.5 is live now with a number of big changes, with the headliner being the new-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The patch adds ray tracing in local light shadows, 60fps gameplay and dynamic 4K scaling, and DualSense haptic feedback with the PS5 version. If you've been waiting for a big update to improve Cyberpunk 2077's visuals and performance on new-gen consoles, go download the new patch - just remember you need to do so manually on PS5.
Alongside the new-gen update is a new demo that lets you try out the upgraded game on PS5 and Xbox Series X for free before committing to buying the full game. The new-gen exclusive demo lets you play through the opening five hours of the game, and if you like what you play your progress will carry over to the full game.
The updated Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes also include some new content for anyone who owns a copy of the game on any platform. As soon as you've started Act 2, you can choose to buy from a selection of new apartments around Night City, and you can also buy makeover packages for your existing pad. The complete list of changes further includes new customization options for V, new poses for Johnny Silverhand, new items and weapons, and a laundry list of bug fixes, AI improvements, and quality-of-life updates.
