Someone Has Already Modded Car Kirby Into Mario Kart 8
Someone has already modded Kirby's car form, or Carby as the internet has lovingly starting referring to him as, into Mario Kart 8.
One of the best parts of the latest Nintendo Direct was getting a brand new look at the upcoming Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Beyond showing off some new gameplay and reaffirming that Kirby has needed to go 3D for some time, the new footage blessed the internet with a brand new meme - Kirby wrapped around the hood of a car like some weird hat.

Kirby inhaling things is nothing new, and neither are memes about it, but the way that Kirby is barely just fitting onto the top of the car and the implication that he can just take things over like Cappy had the internet collectively in love and start memeing all over again. One such meme is that Car Kirby should be included in the next Mario Kart game.
One modder, RiazorMC, has taken that meme to heart and modded Car Kirby into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just a few days after its appearance in the Nintendo Direct. In a video cheekily titled "Mario Kart 9", RiazorMC shows off the car version of Kirby driving around while Gourmet Race plays in the background.
It's a simple mod considering the idea is just Kirby stretched over a car, but it looks almost exactly like the real thing and how it might actually look if Nintendo decided to go along and throw the character in for a joke. Unfortunately, like with RiazorMC's other work, it doesn't look like the mod is available to download and is simply being showcased by the creator for this video.
