Magni Model Update on The War Within Beta (Story Spoilers)
Magni Bronzebeard has received another model update on The War Within Beta, but beware of story spoilers!
The Speaker, Herald of Azeroth, and rightful King of Khaz Modan, Magni actually goes through a couple changes in The War Within. When first introduced to players, he's still in his stone speaker form, though keen eyed players may notice it is now much duller and lacking its original luster.
Also a new model, this is the first version of Magni we see in The War Within.
Over the course of the main campaign, Magni is eventually restored to his original fleshy form, sacrificing his crystalline energies to cleanse the Halls of Awakening from void corruption.
In previous Beta builds, Magni used his older King model, but now wears much more simple attire.
Although we previously datamined this model, it hadn't made its way onto the Beta until now — instead displaying his pre-diamond form decked out in full Kingly regalia. This new one is a much more plain, a visual reference to his newfound status — no longer serving as king or speaker for anyone.
