Thanks to the help of some eagle-eyed Redditors, popular Twitch streamer Ludwig has managed to get back his 1997 Subaru Sambar after it was stolen from him.
Ludwig Ahren, mostly referred to as Ludwig, is one of the top Twitch streamers in the world, even after recently having his record shattered by Kai Cenat. After years of streaming, Ludwig has managed to build up a massive fan base and, as it turns out, some of them might as well be detectives, as they've managed to help the streamer find his 1997 Subaru Sambar, which he imported for around $7,000 back in 2022.

As reported by Kotaku, Ludwig's Subaru, which he has previously described as his "dream car", was stolen from him after he left it in a warehouse to avoid it being damaged in the recent L.A. storms. According to a video Ludwig posted about the situation, the Subaru was stolen after the warehouse he put it in lost power, leaving it wide open to be stolen.
In that same video, Ludwig asked his viewers to keep an eye out for the truck and let him know if they saw anything. Ludwig's fans replied in earnest, with his subreddit being full of helpful posts from fans trying to find the Subaru. Oh, and memes, of course. Eventually, Twitter user slime_machine (who is also a Super Smash Bros. Melee player) found the Subaru in LA on March 1.
As can be seen in his video above, an unknown man is seen sitting in the driving seat when slime_machine finds the Subaru and he seems to have no idea why people are trying to get the vehicle back from him.
