Thor: Love and Thunder effectively ended any debate over who would win between the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in the MCU. Though both teams are heroes, there has long been speculation over who would come out on top in a fight. Since both sides bring plenty to the table in terms of powers and skills, it’s one of several dream matchups that are often discussed by MCU fans.

Thanks to developments that took place in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, a bridge was formed between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Star-Lord’s Guardians team, thus making it possible for members of both teams to interact with each other for the first time.
