Love is Blind season 2 is just as popular with fans as season 1, but that doesn’t mean that there’s no room for improvement. There are many things production can do to make the show more compelling and representative of its audience. If a few changes are made in season 3, the series could become an even bigger hit.
The Love is Blind cast members try to create lasting love connections without ever seeing the singles they’re talking to in their self-contained pods. It’s only after the couples have gotten engaged that the contestants get to leave the pods and meet their fiances and fiancees in person. There’s lots of heartbreak that happens along the way, but surprisingly, real love has blossomed on the show. In fact, two couples from season 1 are still happily married. However, more could be done to make the hit series even better.

Season 2 featured many castmates that viewers didn’t get to see much of. The full cast was very diverse and included a lot of different ethnicities and body types. However, the main couples that were followed throughout the season can all be described as “conventionally” attractive. It’s unfortunate that the show chose to focus on a relatively homogenous group in Love is Blind season 2, as there were full-figured contestants who got very little screen time. Of course, viewers deserved to find out what happened on their love journeys too. Next season, it would be more interesting to feature a more diverse cast that actually gets adequate screen time.
