Sea of Thieves has been preparing for the launch of the new Shrouded Islands adventure that will be a narrative-driven event for players. The event has been promoted in the form of a cinematic trailer for Shrouded Islands and another trailer released earlier this week, before it officially launched in the game.

Shrouded Islands will kick off a new story for players to experience in Sea of Thieves as they fight through the mysterious mist covering the Golden Sands Outpost. Shrouded Islands will have a series of limited-time, story-driven events starting February 17 and lasting until March 3.

In Sea of Thieves Shrouded Islands, players will uncover the secrets of the mysterious mist covering the Golden Sands Outpost as it continues to spread, along with investigating the disappearance of Captain Flameheart and sightings of the mysterious Belle. Players who want to start Shrouded Islands will need to report to the character Larinna, leader of the Bilge Rats, to do so. Players who need a quick refresher on the lore of Sea of Thieves can use the story primers before each «Adventure» posted on the game's website to get back up to speed.
