The latest update for Lost Ark, titled "Chase the Storm," with maintenance for the patch lasting a whopping 8 hours from 12 AM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST onwards, adding new events to the game that will help players progress towards Tier 4, as well as the latest threat that players will have to contend with. Behemoth is the latest threat that players will have to worry about when participating in the new raid. Behemoth is the Chaos Guardian and a follower of Varkan who is seen as a symbol of fear after killing many in Kurzan. The 16-player raid will allow players to get their hands on honing materials and Weapon Transcendence. The raid will be far from easy, with only eight revives available, requiring an Item Level of 1620.
As stated above, Weapon Transcendence is a new feature that is added into the game, introduced specifically through the Behemoth raid. Weapon Transcendence is similar to Armor Transcendence, but utilizes materials that you can only get from the Behemoth Raid. This allows players to improve the basic effects of their weapons. To be able to transcend your weapons, you will go to the same vendor as the Armor Transcendence. You'll be able to access Weapon Transcendence after you have cleared Gate 1 of Behemoth, with higher levels of Transcendence being available after clearing Gate 2.
September has plenty of events going on and new content for players to dive into, with a Prelude Quest to the Behemoth Raid being available, as well as an Afterstory Questline for players to complete. In addition, there are 14 new achievements and two new trophies to get your hands on as well.
