More Changes to Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch Marks of Honor in Season of Discovery
In Season of Discovery Phase 5, Developers experimented with awarding 2 Marks of Honor per loss in Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch. However, that experiment ended just a few days after players realized that losing fast was the most rewarding way to play. Today though, developers have made another change.
Changes to Honor Gain in Season of Discovery Phase 5
This time, the losing team will be rewarded with 1 mark of honor, however, they will also earn additional marks based on capturing the flag in Warsong Gulch and every 600 resources gained in Arathi Basin. The winning team will always receive 4 Marks of Honor. This change should make for some interesting Battlegrounds!
Season of Discovery
- Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch now award more Marks of Honor to the losing team when the match ends, based on the performance of the losing team.
- The losing team will always get 1 Mark of Honor, plus 1 extra for each flag captured in Warsong Gulch, or for each 600 resources earned in Arathi Basin.
- The winning team will now always receive 4 Marks of Honor.
