CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen has been a breakout hit, selling over one million copies in its first ten days. The publisher has ambitious plans for it, including a goal of $100 million in net revenue over “the next few years”, per CEO Marek Tyminski.
In a press release (via Bankier.pl, translation by DeepL), Tyminski said, “Lords of The Fallen is one of our main IPs that we want to develop. Our current ambitious goal is to achieve $100 million in reported net revenue from sales of this title over the next few years. Interest in the game is growing, so we strongly believe that we will be able to achieve this goal.”
CI Games is also working on several new projects, including Project Survive, developed by Underdog Studio in Unreal Engine 5, and Project 3 from Hexworks, a triple-A action RPG that launches in early 2024. They will both be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
As for Lords of the Fallen, it’s received extensive support, with 24 patches till now. It recently received a new questline, The Way of the Bucket, which provides a new reward. New spells like Rising Fire, Blistering Salvo and more have also been added, while matchmaking is improved overall. Head here for more details. You can also read our review for the base game here.
