2021 was perhaps their biggest year yet for the MCU in terms of content released, as the studios' debut of streaming series on Disney Plus expanded the cinematic universe in exciting ways. One of the series, Loki,premiered on Disney Plus last summer and would go on to receive rave reviews from critics and become the most-watched MCU series. The series also became the first Marvel Studios series to earn a second season, something many fans are most definitely looking forward to.

Revealed by Production List, Loki season 2 will have its cameras rolling on June 6 in London, England. The date is not too surprising, as Loki star Tom Hiddleston shared back in April that filming was on track to begin sometime in the summer. Now with a start date confirmed,Loki's second season production will likely last throughout the summer, as filming for season 1 lasted for roughly three months in 2020. And being the first series to have a second season, things should go even more smoothly this time around, especially when the majority of the cast is familiar with one another.
