Epic Games has announced that Collision is coming to Fortnite in early June, acting as the end-of-season event for Chapter 3 Season 2. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, also known as Resistance, kicked off on March 20, allowing players to take part in the ongoing conflict between the Imagined Order and The Seven. While the latter pledges to protect the mysterious Zero Point by any means, the Imagined Order prefers to exploit the nexus orb's ability to manipulate reality. Soon enough, Fortnite faithful will have front row seats to see how the war concludes.
Fortnite Chapter 3 began late last year, introducing a brand-new map, several playable characters — Spider-Man included — and a whole host of previously unseen gameplay mechanics that significantly altered the moment-to-moment action. Of course, Epic has continued to improve upon the battle royale in the many months since then. One recent update, in fact, unlocked access to a permanent no build mode in Fortnite, which removes building opportunities and engenders and completely different type of challenge for Island contestants. Now yet another batch of changes peaks over the horizon for Epic's ever-popular multiplayer adventure.
