Tears of the Kingdom has naturally dominated video game headlines for the whole weekend, and that's probably not going to change as we begin a new week. Players continue to find details big and small in the Breath of the Wild sequel, including the realization that Link now hums tunes from throughout The Legend of Zelda's 37-year history while he's cooking.
If you listened closely to Link while he was cooking in Breath of the Wild, they would always hum the same, non-descript tune while waiting for their food to be done. That one tune has now been replaced by many, all of which appear to have been pulled from the Zelda series' extensive back catalog.

A couple of players have posted clips of Link humming their tunes, picking out which Zelda games they're from. Tahko has shared a few of them in the tweet below, and then a little further down you'll find a YouTube video courtesy of GameXplain with even more plus the names of the tunes Link is humming (thanks, Nintendo Life).
Cooking a meal in Hyrule doesn't take long, so you only have the briefest of moments to listen to Link and to try and hear what exactly it is they're humming. GameXplain has managed to pinpoint some of them, but if you watch until the end of the video below, you'll find a few they haven't managed to identify. Probably worth those of you with extensive Zelda knowledge giving them a listen and letting them know where exactly from the series' history they come from in the comments.
Its small details like this, and big details like a complete overhaul of Link's abilities, that make Tears of the Kingdom so unique even though it takes place on the same map as Breath of the Wild.
