Deck Nine and Square Enix have shared the first look at gameplay for Life is Strange: Remastered Collection; needless to say, the original entry shines brighter than ever before in terms of visuals. The Remastered Collection initially bore a fall 2021 release date, but a delay pushed the project back by several months. Fortunately, the wait is nearly at an end.
Produced by Before the Storm andTrue Colors studio Deck Nine, Life is Strange: Remastered Collection packs in the award-winning franchise's first Dontnod-developed title and the Before the Storm prequel content. Players can expect far more than mere visual enhancements, however. In addition to improving the graphics, Deck Nine and Square Enix also put in the effort to vastly enhance the animations by using facial motion capture. Such commitment should go a long way in improving Life is Strange's quirkier aspects, specifically the troublesome lip-sync issues. And by the looks of it, the lip-sync has most definitely received a quality boost.
