Lena Headey Is On The Run From Sam Worthington In 9 Bullets Trailer
Screen Media Films has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming action movie 9 Bullets, starring Lena Headey and Sam Worthington. The film revolves around Gypsy (Headey), a former burlesque dancer turned author, as she risks everything to protect her young neighbor after he witnesses his parents' murder. But hot on her trail is the local crime boss, Jack (Worthington), who also happens to be her ex. Alongside Headey and Worthington, 9 Bullets features Dean Scott Vasquez, Cam Gigandet (Twilight), La La Anthony, Barbara Hershey (Black Swan), and Martin Sensmeier.
Screen Media Films has dropped a new trailer for 9 Bullets that puts the spotlight on Headey and Worthington. The trailer begins with Gypsy meeting the little boy (Vasquez), who's in hiding after his parents are killed. By rescuing the child, Gypsy attracts the attention of Jack, who sends his gang after them to kill the boy. It's been quite a week for the Game of Thrones and Dredd actress as the trailer releases shortly after Headey's announcement that she will be making her feature directorial debut with the psychological thriller Violet. 9 Bullets also marks back-to-back roles in an action film for Headey after last year's Gunpowder Milkshake. As for Worthington, the film is set to be his first of multiple projects slated to come out in 2022, including the Russell Crowe-starring The Georgetown Project and James Cameron's Avatar 2.
