This is a very tense and mysterious premise, and it could make for Pacific Rim's finest adventure yet.

Pacific Rim: The Black debuted in 2021, with fans of the franchise embracing its darker tone, especially after the vapid nonsense that was Pacific Rim: Uprising.It was likely that film would've killed the series, but thankfully Netflix gave Pacific Rim another chance. However, this will be the final season of The Black, due to Netflix's habit of keeping most shows on very brief runs. But anime fans are used to quality over quantity, and if this season sticks the landing, it'll keep the Pacific Rim franchise on a strong note.
