A new teaser trailer has just been revealed, giving gamers a taste of what they can expect from Halo Infinite Season 2. The forthcoming second season of the game's multiplayer is something that has been highly anticipated by the gaming community, as it aims to remedy some of Halo Infinite's issues.
Halo Infinite is the first game in the long-running science-fiction FPS to launch its multiplayer as a free-to-play live-service experience. The adoption of this popular model has been something of a rough transition for the 343 Industries team, however, as the game has been heavily criticized for its unsatisfying progression system and slow content rollout; While most players seem to agree that the core of the game-- that is, the shooting and movement mechanics-- are better than they have ever been, the challenge-based approach to earning XP and the minimal amount of new game modes, gear, and other content arriving at the game post-launch have sullied the experience for even the most dedicated Halo fans. 343 Industries does appear to be aware of these concerns, however, and the studio is looking to enhance Halo Infinite with new game modes and other improvements over the coming months.
