The remake for The Last of Us Part 1 will have new experiences for veteran players with new permadeath and speedrun modes. The Last of Us Part 1 was officially announced during the 2022 Summer Game Fest and has received a bit of a tepid reception from long-time fans dubious of its necessity. Due to the reveal for the Last of Us Part 1 remake leaking before its unveiling at the 2022 Summer Games Fest, it's unfortunately struggled to gain momentum amongst its divided fans.
