Franco is a Puerto Rican photographer who was born in New York City, but raised in Puerto Rico. He is also a writer, content creator, producer, and fashion designer. He has over 20 years of experience in television.
He first appeared on The Bachelor in 2017, during season 21. Franco was also a photographer and creative director during seasons 21 and 25. He initially made a name for himself on the show when he appeared as a wedding photographer during Nick Viall's first group date in season 21. Franco got people talking on social media because of the colorful romper he wore during the episode. He also photographed contestants on The Bachelor season 25 with Matt James. In The Bachelor season 21, Franco was really the star of the episode. Twitter fell in love with him, and several people suggested that he should star in his own show. Other fans wanted him to replace Jorge Moreno as the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise.

Franco has also appeared on The Bachelorette as a photographer, and helped to design some of the challenges and photoshoots, according to his Franco Lacosta website.
