Knockout City is soon going fully free-to-play and EA is stepping away as publisher.
Developer Velan Studios announced in a blog post that it's taking over and will self-publish the dodgeball combat game when it enters its second year on the market.
These changes will come into effect when the game enters Season 6, and though Velan Studios only specified that this will be in the spring, it seems likely to occur in May based on the current season schedule and because the game originally launched in May 2021.
