Screen Rant is thrilled to death about presenting an exclusive deleted scene from The Boys season 2 as a celebration of the hit show's Blu-ray and DVD release on May 31. Both seasons of the irreverent superhero satire have been combined into one super-sized collector's edition, which includes six discs that feature bonus materials such as deleted and extended scenes as well as blooper reels.
Based on the bloody good comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys premiered on Prime Video in 2019 to an impressive amount of fanfare. The show trades in shock and awe, but fans and critics alike agree that it doesn't sacrifice plot or character for the sake of spectacle. Instead, The Boys uses visceral and upsetting situations to drive home what happens when superheroes are revered as gods and yet abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good.

The Boys season 2 kicked things up another notch, pitting the powerless hero Butcher (Karl Urban) and his crew against not just Vought's Seven anointed supes but against the law itself. Furthermore, the season introduced alt-right heroine Stormfront (Aya Cash), who poses a challenge that not even the Seven's leader Homefront (Antony Starr) is sure he can take on.
