After all the dirty laundry was aired following his domestic violence arrest, Rick and Morty creator and voice actor Justin Roiland had domestic violence charges against him dropped. After the charges were dismissed, Roiland sent out an official statement declaring his innocence on the matter but failed to mention all the other allegations that were made against him following the initial charge of domestic violence that started the whole thing.
Roiland took to social media to not only express that he was innocent but also shame the public for being quick to judge him when, according to him, not all the facts were released. However, the Rick and Morty co-creator did not comment on the many other allegations that have been made against him over the past month or so.

«I have always known that these claims were false — and I never had any doubt in that this day would come. I'm thankful that this case has been dismissed but, at the same time, I'm still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process,» Roiland said in an official statement via his personal Twitter page. «Most of all, I'm disappointed that so many people were so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the word of an embittered ex trying to bypass due process and have me 'canceled.' That it may have succeeded, even partially, is shameful. However, now that the legal case has ended, I'm determined to move forward and focus on both my creative projects and restoring my good name.» Roiland's caption above his tweet simply read as «justice.»
