Jurassic World Evolution 2 is about to get even bigger with the Dominion Biosyn expansion. The upcoming DLC features new content based on the highly anticipated Jurassic World Dominion and is set to launch alongside it later this week. Players can expect a new campaign, Chaos Theory scenario, and some additional features that help improve the overall experience.

TheGamer was given the opportunity to go hands-on with the first new campaign mission that sees you work to build a new Biosyn Genetics facility in a beautiful valley. You’ll set up a basic infrastructure before housing a range of dinosaurs, including some we’ve never seen before. Game Director Rich Newbold was also on hand to answer any questions we had about the new content drop.
Biosyn Genetics was introduced to the Jurassic series way back in Jurassic Park when Dennis Nedry attempted to steal dinosaur DNA from InGen using the now-infamous method of an undercover shaving foam can. While the name Biosyn was never mentioned in the movie, it comes from Michael Crichton’s novel where the events pan out in much the same way. Biosyn has, however, been mentioned in Jurassic World Evolution. Now in both the movie and game, Biosyn is ready to take centre stage after the collapse of InGen.
Newbold confirmed that the movie and game are linked, “Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn Expansion features a new campaign, which expands the story of Jurassic World Dominion” he tells us, “It all takes place inside a stunning valley where players will work alongside a familiar face, Lewis Dodgson, who is now the head of Biosyn Genetics.”
