Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City are on tenterhooks waiting to hear news about the “Legacy Series,” but former RHONY star Jill Zarin claims she hasn’t been contacted by Bravo yet. Following RHONY season 13, Bravo producers decided the franchise needed a shake-up. After rumors that RHONY was either canceled or put on hold, producer Andy Cohen revealed that Bravo was going to cast an entirely new group of women. To pay an homage to RHONY stars who have been in the show for years, Bravo will also create a “throwback” RHONY series featuring fan favorites.
Jill has been on RHONY since season 1 and was fired from the show after season 4. Jill’s time on RHONY was pretty controversial, especially her feud with former star Bethenny Frankel. Many fans thought Jill unnecessarily came down hard on Bethenny and couldn’t forgive her treatment of her former BFF, whom she claimed was like family to her. Following Jill's departure from the show, she made appearances in RHONY seasons 9-12. However, she never came back as a full cast member.

When Andy made the announcement that there would be a legacy series, Jill made it clear she wanted to be on the show. TMZ recently asked if Jill had been contacted by Bravo about the legacy show and she responded that “she hasn't heard from producers but she's not worried because she doesn't think anyone has gotten a call, at least not yet.” According to TMZ, Jill thinks Bravo is focusing their efforts on re-casting the original RHONY first.
