Twitch streamers are no strangers to drama, and personal beefs can get ugly when left to fester online. However, some internet personalities seem willing to rebuild bridges after burning them. The repairs are happening surprisingly quickly when it comes to the recent drama between Twitch streamers Jidon “JiDon” Adams and Imane “Pokimane” Anys.
Last month, Pokimane ended a stream early after JjDon incited his audience to engage in a “hate raid,” spamming her Twitch chat with hateful and inappropriate messages. One might expect that to trigger a lasting feud between the two streamers. However, the pair surprised everyone by announcing their upcoming collaboration.
Popular Twitch Streamer Pokimane Announces Her Contract Has Ended
JiDon announced this collab in a tweet on February 3rd. It contained a picture of him and Pokimane sitting on a couch together eating fast food with the caption, “Ask me and Poki questions.” JiDon, who is still banned from Twitch, later streamed a short explanation on Instagram, saying, “I don’t like beef. I’m a chill dude… If you have a disagreement with a person, it can always be mended.” He also informed fans that his Pokimane collab will take place in “three to five weeks.”
For her part, Pokimane said very little about the upcoming collab. Her only direct comment was a tongue-in-cheek tweet reading, “It’s bigger than black and white.” It’s also unclear if collaboration between the two streamers will extend beyond the upcoming Q and A video. However, it hopefully represents the beginning of a more civil relationship.
