Jamie Lee Curtis gets a Halloween Ends gift from a former co-star that lovingly pokes fun at her continued survival onscreen within the franchise. Curtis helped get the Halloween series off the ground with the John Carpenter-directed 1978 original, and now she might get to bring it to a close with this year's Halloween Ends. Set to arrive in theaters in October, the new film is being billed as the conclusion of the rebooted trilogy that began in 2018; it isn't entirely clear if there will be more Michael Myers stories after it, though it has been strongly hinted that there could be even despite the Ends title.
Curtis' return as Laurie Strode in the 2018 Halloween did much to restore interest and excitement for the franchise, and now audiences will tune in to see what becomes of her. Halloween Ends will have a bit of a time jump between its beginning and the conclusion of last fall's Halloween Kills. That installment saw the town of Haddonfield rise up against Michael with the hopes of ending his killing sprees once and for all. Unfortunately, they fell short in a major way, and Halloween Kills ended with the apparent death of someone very close to Laurie.

The Halloween franchise's most prominent final girl, Laurie, did make it to the end of Kills, and she has the t-shirt to prove it. In a recent social media post, Curtis and her co-star Andi Matichak (who plays Laurie's granddaughter Allyson) pose together wearing t-shirts that read «Final Girl,» proudly honoring both of their characters' survivals up until this point. Judy Greer, who played Karen in the first two rebooted Halloween movies, gave them the shirts, and based on Matichak's caption,
