The franchise has a ton of fans, and the first one is often hailed as one of the many classic platformers of the time. There have been rumblings about a Jak and Daxter movie, but otherwise, the franchise has stalled.
Of course, just because there aren’t new Jak and Daxter games releasing, that doesn’t mean fans aren’t playing them. One fan, playing throughJak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, recently noticed an interesting detail regarding the mayor’s house early in the game.

Redditor idiahs recently pointed out that the mayor’s house is the only one in the village with bricks, while the rest of the huts are made of clay. One Redditor added the comment that this gave him major Baron Praxis vibes, while others were also quick to point out how elaborate Samos the Sage’s hut was. Many, including idiahs, also joked about knowing where all the Precursor Orbs given to the mayor were going.
However, many also come to the mayor’s defense, pointing out a couple of reasons this one house has brick. First is that is also supports a windmill and that would obviously require a stronger structure. It would be devastating if it fell. Others also point out that, while this does seem to be the mayor’s house, it also seems to be the village’s town hall. It may be odd to imagine a mayor living in a town hall, but stranger things certainly happen in the franchise.
