Anthony Ramos' mysterious Ironheart character is reportedly already expected to return in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. Marvel Studios confirmed plans for an Ironheart Disney+ series in late 2020 when it was revealed that Dominique Thorne will play Riri Williams. The solo show has been in development for the last year without many big updates on its status. However, it was during that time that Kevin Feige confirmed Riri Williams will make her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will lead into Ironheart's series.
Despite having Dominique Thorne attached to Ironheart for over a year, she has long been the only cast member. It has now been revealed that Anthony Ramos is joining the MCU to play a mystery character in the Disney+ series. His role in Ironheart is being kept under wraps for the time being, but it comes on the heels of him taking the lead role in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and starring in the musical In the Heights. While there is plenty of mystery surrounding Ramos' involvement, it seems he's already envisioned to be a big part of the MCU's future.

In Deadline's report of Anthony Ramos' Ironheart casting, the outlet noted that he's expected to have a big role in future MCU projects. The report states that Ramos' mystery character will play a prominent role in Ironheart before joining other Marvel productions. Which future projects he'll appear in were not revealed, although the report compared the MCU future of Ramos' character to how important Jonathan Major's Kang the Conqueror is after Loki.
