Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, recently teased the important impact that Eternals is going to have on the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward. When itpremiered, Eternals introduced a plethora of new super-powered characters to the MCU, such as Sersi (Gemma Chan), Ikaris (Richard Madden), Thena (Angelina Jolie), and Ajak (Salma Hayek), along with new threats in the form of the alien Deviants. Eternals revealed that the group was present during the early days of humanity, helping human beings evolve and advance toward the modern day. Their wide-ranging knowledge of history and possible threats beyond even the scope of the Avengers means that the Eternals are going to be important going forward in the MCU, and now the head of Marvel Studios has confirmed that fact.
