Kevin Feige Teases The Impact Of Eternals On The MCU's Future
Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, recently teased the important impact that Eternals is going to have on the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward. When itpremiered, Eternals introduced a plethora of new super-powered characters to the MCU, such as Sersi (Gemma Chan), Ikaris (Richard Madden), Thena (Angelina Jolie), and Ajak (Salma Hayek), along with new threats in the form of the alien Deviants. The Eternals team defied the orders of their creator, Arishem (voiced by David Kaye), a powerful world-creating Celestial, by stopping the Emergence of a different Celestial, Tiamut, from the Earth. Angry at the sacrifice of a Celestial in exchange for a planet, Arishem is preparing to judge whether or not the actions of the Eternals were justified at the film's end.
