Charlie Cox opens up about his desire to see Daredevil and Black Widow's «sexy» relationship explored in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Scarlett Johansson first brought the iconic heroine to life in the MCU with Iron Man 2 as an undercover spy for S.H.I.E.L.D after having been recruited by Clint Barton in the hopes of helping escape her past life as an assassin for the Red Room. The two-time Oscar nominee would carry Black Widow through nine other films, including establishing her as a founding member of the Avengers Initiative and leading to her defending the world from Loki, Ultron and Thanos.
Charlie Cox made his MCU debut as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the eponymous Netflix series in the same name, which established its own mini universe of interconnected shows alongside Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Punisher. A few years after his show was cancelled, Cox would return for Spider-Man: No Way Home to confirm Daredevil's MCU connections as he appeared as Peter Parker's lawyer near the start of the film and shows a hint of his abilities by preventing a brick from hitting the young webslinger in the face. With Cox looking forward to his future in the MCU, something confirmed by he and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, the actor is sharing his ideas of what should come next for the character.
