Intel Meteor Lake & Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs continue to leak as we have more laptops showing up with Core Ultra 7 155H, 155U & i5-14500HX chips.
We all know that the generational improvement in performance expected within the upcoming Meteor Lake lineup is a big one, and the industry has set its sights on the debut of Intel's next-gen CPUs, which is expected in mid-December. We have seen various Meteor Lake CPUs leak online & this time, we are looking at ASUS's Zenbook 14 which includes the Core Ultra 7 155H chip. Besides that, there are also Core Ultra 7 155U and Core i5-14500HX chips that have been confirmed.
Starting with the specifications, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H "Meteor Lake" CPU offers a total of 16 cores and 22 threads arranged in 6 P-Core, 8 E-Core, and 2 low-power E-Core configurations. The CPU operates with a base frequency of 3.80 GHz and a boost frequency of 4.80 GHz while offering up to 24 MB of L3 cache. The ASUS Zenbook 14 featured 32 GB of LPDDR5 memory but the exact speeds are not mentioned.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H managed to obtain a single-core score of 2422 points and a multi-core score of 12,563 points which is in line with the previous entries of the same chip. The small variance in performance could be due to different thermal/power limits and cooling designs which matter a lot in laptops. So far, we have seen the Core Ultra 7 155H leak out in various laptops which include:
In addition to the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, the Core Ultra 7 155U which is a low-power variant with a TDP configured at 15W has also been revealed. This chip comes with a vastly reduced config which includes 14 cores and 12 MB of cache. Based on the specs, it looks like the chip entirely uses an E-Core configuration and
