"Subscriptions are a great way for creators to have a predictable income & for fans to get exclusive content from creators that they love," Adam Mosseri tweeted. This will allow Instagram creators to sign up for the Subscribers program where they can charge a monthly subscription fee to make the exclusive content through the Instagram app. He also posted a video along with a tweet, where he explained that subscribers will be able to host exclusive chats where they can interact with their followers. However, only up to 30 subscribers can be in a Subscriber chat and the chats will be available only for 24 hours to the subscribers.

"This is just one step on a much longer path to provide creators everywhere with a whole range of tools to be able to make a living online," the head of Instagram mentioned in the video.
